PFS - Application Support

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Application Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our eTax application and internal financial systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing first-level technical support for the eTax application and internal financial systems, ensuring timely resolution of user issues.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for financial application enhancements.
• Designing and generating custom reports using SQL to meet business needs.
• Creating comprehensive design documents, including UML diagrams, ERDs (Entity Relationship Diagrams), and DFDs (Data Flow Diagrams).
• Proactively identifying and resolving application data issues by leveraging SQL databases, Excel, and other tools.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of financial applications.

Qualifications:**

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and generating custom reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
• Experience in the financial industry (e.g., banking) is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with financial systems and processes is highly desirable.
