IT Support Technician
Job Description:
Contract: 6 months | Possibility of Full-Time Conversion
Were seeking a motivated and hands-on IT Support Technician to join our on-site technology team in Naperville, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 12 years of helpdesk or technical support experience who wants to expand their skills in a professional, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do

Provide front-line IT support for walk-up requests and end-user issues.

Assist with hardware setup and deployment including workstations, monitors, peripherals, and basic networking connections.

Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory of IT equipment; unbox, label, and prepare new hardware for use.

Support new hire setup activities (accounts, equipment, workstation configuration).

Work closely with senior IT staff to troubleshoot basic technical issues and learn core IT processes.

Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach while supporting on-site employees.
What We're Looking For

12 years of IT support or helpdesk experience preferred (internships and part-time tech roles count).

Strong interest in hardware setup, troubleshooting, and customer service.

Ability to lift, move, and install equipment as part of daily tasks.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Reliable, organized, and eager to learn.

IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) are a plus, but not required.
