IT Support Technician

Contract: 6 months | Possibility of Full-Time Conversion

Were seeking a motivated and hands-on IT Support Technician to join our on-site technology team in Naperville, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 12 years of helpdesk or technical support experience who wants to expand their skills in a professional, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

  • Provide front-line IT support for walk-up requests and end-user issues.

  • Assist with hardware setup and deployment including workstations, monitors, peripherals, and basic networking connections.

  • Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory of IT equipment; unbox, label, and prepare new hardware for use.

  • Support new hire setup activities (accounts, equipment, workstation configuration).

  • Work closely with senior IT staff to troubleshoot basic technical issues and learn core IT processes.

  • Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach while supporting on-site employees.

What We're Looking For

  • 12 years of IT support or helpdesk experience preferred (internships and part-time tech roles count).

  • Strong interest in hardware setup, troubleshooting, and customer service.

  • Ability to lift, move, and install equipment as part of daily tasks.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Reliable, organized, and eager to learn.

  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) are a plus, but not required.
