About the Role

We are seeking talented Test Engineers (TE2TE3) to support complex Test & Evaluation (T&E) efforts for advanced government systems. These roles are vital to ensuring mission-critical systems meet stringent performance, security, and reliability standards across their entire lifecycle.

You will design and execute test strategies, analyze performance data, and support test documentation and reporting in accordance with DoD and Intelligence Community standards. Test Engineers collaborate closely with Systems Engineering, Acquisition, and Program Management teams to ensure robust validation of system functionality and readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze system requirements, acquisition plans, and design documentation to develop test and evaluation plans and procedures.

  • Support creation of T&E documentation including Test & Evaluation Strategies, Master Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and Reports.

  • Conduct research and apply knowledge of government testing concepts, acquisition policy, and operational requirements.

  • Plan and execute performance testing, data collection, and analysis; develop test metrics and evaluation frameworks.

  • Apply statistical methods and modeling/simulation to evaluate system behavior and performance confidence.

  • Define and coordinate instrumentation, configuration management, and data management processes.

  • Produce test documentation such as Evaluation Plans, Risk Assessments, Test Procedures, and Analysis Reports.

  • Participate in and support Integrated Test Teams (ITT) and Working-Level IPTs (WIPTs) for T&E coordination.

  • Ensure test readiness, including participant training, equipment verification, and security compliance.

  • Provide technical direction, review, and quality assurance for subordinate test team members.

Additional TE3 (Senior Level) Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead for T&E tasks and act as primary liaison with government and contract leadership.

  • Manage T&E resources, schedule, and task execution; ensure quality assurance of all test products.

  • Drive innovation and adaptability in response to evolving program needs and risk assessments.

  • Coordinate integration across multiple T&E teams and ensure independence and objectivity in evaluation.

  • Communicate results, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers.

Qualifications

TE2 Mid-Level Test Engineer

  • 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer supporting programs of similar scope and complexity.

  • Bachelors degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field.

    • Four (4) additional years of T&E experience may substitute for a degree.

  • 2+ years experience testing in a Computer Network Operations (CNO) environment preferred.

TE3 Senior Test Engineer

  • 8+ years of experience as a Test Engineer on large-scale systems or government programs.

  • Bachelors degree in a related technical discipline (same substitutions as above).

  • Proven experience leading T&E teams, managing test schedules, and coordinating with government stakeholders.
