Mechanical Project Manager

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year

PTF Consulting is recruiting for our client, a commercial construction employer seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical and HVAC/R sheet-metal work. You will coordinate air-distribution systems, ductwork, equipment installation, and subcontractors while keeping project delivery, budgets, and safety on track.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain project schedules, coordinating with preconstruction, safety, estimating, and BIM/fabrication teams.
• Review technical equipment submittals and arrange procurement of mechanical materials and vendor packages.
• Issue trade subcontracts, monitor daily field progress, and keep work aligned with project milestones.
• Manage project budgets, revenue forecasts, schedules of values, and change orders.
• Implement project safety plans and review drawings to identify design conflicts.
• Develop schedule-recovery plans when needed to keep projects moving.

What You Bring

• At least 3 years of commercial HVAC/R project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
• Proficiency with construction software, including Procore and BIM tools.
• Strong interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
