Salary Range: $288,400 – $374,920 per year
Are you an Internal Medicine Physician who is passionate about serving older adults in a mission-driven, community health setting?
A large, well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the Sacramento region is launching a new program and seeking an MD/DO with a strong geriatric focus to join its Primary Care team.
This is an opportunity to practice comprehensive, relationship-based medicine while serving diverse and underserved populations in a Patient-Centered Health Home (PCHH) model.
Position Overview
The Staff Physician will:
- Provide high-quality primary care to adult and geriatric patients
- Conduct detailed histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and management
- Collaborate with Medical Directors and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record
Ideal Candidate
- MD or DO licensed in California
- Active DEA registration
- Experience in Internal Medicine with geriatric population preferred
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medi-Cal, SSI, and community resources
- Commitment to underserved populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- FQHC and/or EPIC experience highly desirable
