Title: Digital Merchandising Assistant

Location: London Office (Holborn) not a remote position

Schedule: Fulltime (Mon - Fri, 8 am to 4:30 pm)

Salary: from £30,000 PA

As an Digital Merchandising Assistant at PURESEOUL, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and curating our online store, ensuring every collection and product launch looks its best. From organising new brand uploads to crafting engaging product copy, you’ll help bring our K-beauty lineup to life on-site. This role blends creativity with precision — perfect for someone who loves both the visual and written sides of e-commerce and wants to work closely with iconic Korean beauty brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Online Store & Marketplaces Management: Support the day-to-day running of our e-commerce site, ensuring product listings, collections, and visuals are consistently updated and accurate.

Collection Curation & Upkeep: Maintain and refresh product collections based on new launches, seasonality, and performance data to ensure a cohesive and engaging browsing experience.

Product Launch Support: Assist in the coordination and upload of new product and brand launches, ensuring all assets (images, descriptions, tags, and pricing) are complete and aligned with brand guidelines.

Copywriting & Content Creation: Write and edit engaging product descriptions, brand stories, and launch copy that align with our tone of voice and highlight key product features.

Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure the online store reflects current campaigns, promotions, and trending categories.

Website Optimisation: Support ongoing improvements to the user experience by checking navigation flow, product categorisation, and internal linking to optimise conversion.

Stock & Listing Accuracy: Coordinate with the operations and warehouse teams to ensure product availability, correct stock levels, and timely removal or reactivation of products.

Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics such as conversion rates, click-throughs, and product performance to provide insights for collection or content adjustments.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align site updates with social media campaigns, newsletters, and launch schedules.

Trend Awareness: Stay updated on e-commerce, SEO trends, and emerging K-beauty launches to support timely product updates and compelling copywriting ideas.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience in e-commerce operations, digital merchandising, or copywriting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Excellent writing skills with an eye for detail and brand tone.

  • A creative approach to product presentation and content storytelling.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.

  • Basic understanding of SEO and how it applies to on-site content.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to new priorities.
  • Strong passion for and existing knowledge of the Korean beauty industry.
  • Willingness to travel between central London and west London regularly.

Important to Note

  • Workplace travel: Due to the nature of working closely with products, inventory, and our fulfilment team, travel may be required regularly, and on short notice to work from our West London warehouse. If deemed necessary, this could be for multiple days a week and for extended periods.

  • Team Collaboration & Flexibility: As part of a small and dynamic team, there will be occasional opportunities to assist with activities outside of core responsibilities, such as helping with store openings, supporting team events, or assisting with ad-hoc projects. While these tasks are optional, we really value a collaborative spirit and the willingness to step in and support each other when needed.
