Position: Merchandising Admin Assistant

Location: London Office (Holborn). In Office required, not a remote position

Schedule: Full-time (Mon - Fri, 8 am to 4:30 pm)

Salary: From £28,000

As a Merchandising Admin Assistant, you'll provide essential support to the Merchandising team. You'll assist in reviewing pricing, monitoring product performance, and ensuring in-store merchandising is consistent and commercially effective. Working closely with store supervisors and the warehouse team, you'll help coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any stock or supply issues quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Merchandising team with day-to-day tasks: working across pricing, stock flow, and product performance.
  • Monitoring delivery schedules: collaborating with the warehouse team and store supervisors to ensure timely stock flow.
  • Reviewing in-store merchandising standards: visiting stores and providing feedback to maintain a consistent customer experience.
  • Investigating and resolving stock or supply issues: acting quickly to help maintain product availability across all channels.
  • Reviewing and maintaining accurate pricing and product information: ensuring all systems are up to date to support trading accuracy.
  • Assisting in the planning and coordination of range changes and promotional activity: helping to manage timelines and ensure correct implementation.
  • Producing and updating key reports on bestsellers, slow movers, and store performance: supplying the team with insights to support internal meetings.
  • Contributing to weekly and quarterly sales summaries: providing relevant data and insights to track performance over time.
  • Identifying trading risks and opportunities: tracking performance across channels and flagging issues to the Merchandiser.
  • Conducting competitor analysis: supporting pricing and product decisions by keeping an eye on the wider market.

What Were Looking For

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and performance trends
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A commercial mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable building strong working relationships across teams and departments
