Short-Term Rental Accountant / Bookkeeper (Remote)

Summary:
We're looking for a detail-driven and proactive Bookkeeper to manage the financial operations of an Airbnb property portfolio (100+ units). You'll oversee monthly bookkeeping, owner payments, vendor processing, and cross-team collaborationall from a remote setup supporting a fast-scaling business.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain monthly books in QuickBooks with precise classification by property.

  • Prepare and send owner statements, responding to financial questions promptly.

  • Manage payments to vendors, internal staff, and property owners.

  • Handle 1099/W9 processing for vendors and owners.

  • Present financial summaries to internal leadership with strategic insights.

  • Collaborate with teams to track transactions and maintain organized records.

  • Optimize workflows using Monday.com for bookkeeping infrastructure.

  • Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis or projects as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (preferably in Airbnb or STR property management).

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and managing multi-property financials.

  • Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Meticulous attention to detail with high accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple processes.

Preferred:

  • CPA certification (a plus, not required).

  • Familiarity with Topkey or Breezeway.

Work Setup:

  • Remote role (LATAM only).

  • Monday to Friday, full-time during standard office hours.
