Duties

  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision of nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care aligned with facility policies and healthcare regulations
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex medical conditions such as ventilator dependence, dialysis needs, or dementia care
  • Monitor patient assessments, vital signs, and physiological parameters to promptly identify changes requiring intervention
  • Oversee medical documentation accuracy in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards
  • Facilitate discharge planning, family communication, and coordination with external providers for seamless patient transitions
  • Conduct regular staff evaluations, supervise scheduling, and promote ongoing professional development and team management
  • Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques during procedures like catheterization or IV insertion

Requirements

  • Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice
  • 1 + YEAR/S ICU, emergency medicine,
  • Proven supervisory experience managing nursing teams in acute or long-term care settings
  • 1 + YEAR/S Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic.
