* Active Ohio CRT or RRT License & NBRC* BLS & ACLS certs required before start date* 1 year of recent experience in a hospital or LTAC setting
High school or equivalent (Required)

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate respiratory function and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator management.
- Operate and monitor advanced equipment such as ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP machines, and other respiratory devices.
- Manage airway procedures confidently, including intubation assistance and airway clearance techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), and trauma centers to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor vital signs and interpret physiological data to adjust treatments effectively.
- Provide education to patients and families about respiratory conditions, medication administration, and self-care strategies.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pulmonology, and medical terminology related to respiratory health.
- Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, or Level I/II trauma centers.
- Strong skills in airway management and ventilator troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform patient assessments accurately in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols for acute care and geriatrics populations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients in diverse clinical environments such as clinics or hospital wards.
