    Network Engineer Work Hours/Shifts:

    Network Engineer Responsibilities:
    
    

  • Develop technical specifications for advanced networking equipment procurement
  • Offer Level 2 and Level 3 Support, acting as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
  • Provide comprehensive Infrastructure support across wide area network, local area network, firewalls, routers, and WAN accelerators
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation on network topology, equipment, configuration, standards, and procedures
  • Formulate and execute designs and project plans for seamless implementation
    Collaborate effectively with third-party vendors
  • Stay updated on any changes, progress, and news from our vendors

    
    
    Network Engineer Requirements:
    
    
    
  • Proficient troubleshooting and configuration skills for WAN/LAN
  • In-depth expertise in Cisco/HP LAN equipment
  • Configuration proficiency in Wi-Fi networks, incorporating centralised management
  • Design prowess in network infrastructure, including link aggregation, trunking, switch stacking, redundancy, LAN topologies, and networking protocols
  • Hands-on experience with physical cable patching of fiber and Ethernet
    Strong familiarity and understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, QoS/CoS, and DNS
  • Proven track record in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning
    Background in Network Security practices
  • CCNA/CCNP certifications are desirable but not mandatory
  • Robust knowledge of virtualisation, including VMWare, Hyper V, etc
  • Proficiency in utilising monitoring tools for enhanced network efficiency and security
