Job Description:

Essential

• Building reusable components
• Experience developing accessible web applications
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, vanilla JS and how to use in the context of accessibility
• Good React knowledge including use of hooks
• Experience with SCSS including mixins, functions etc.
• Awareness and understanding of WCAG, as well as meeting accessibility standards
• Knowledge of ARIA roles and attributes
• Experience with accessibility testing - screen readers, browsers and keyboard driven functionality
• Use of git
• Use of npm

Desirable

• Use of Dart SCSS
• Design UX/VD experience
• Experience using Sketch, Invision or other design software
• Ability to write documentation
• Comfortable with sharing knowledge to, and mentoring other developers
• Ability to configure, maintain and update webpack builds
• Experience creating, editing and maintaining production build/deployment plans
• Atlassian stack: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo
• Developing and customizing Storybook
• Knowledge of and experience using web components - native or library based
