Job Description - Site Support Engineer in Moranbah, QLD

 Installing & configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks,
printers, and scanners
 Responding in a timely manner to service issue and requests – ServiceNow
knowledge is required
 Good exposure to desktop and laptop support
 Active directory knowledge is required, group policy Window Administrations,
SCCM knowledge.
 Office 365, outlook configuration and support
 Level 1/2 Desktop support – Exposure to Server room and infrastructure,
Exposure to Network printers
 Level 1 Network support – Installing network devices, maintain UPS units,
providing assistance to Network Engineer in configuring Cisco routers including
WAN and SDWAN routers, and switches over Console cable, Configuring TCP/IP
settings for PDUs. Procuring and Decommissioning Network assets.
 Telecom support with Satellite trailer – Understanding of how local network
works, providing level 1 support with reconfiguring Satellite receiver/controller
and Modem when/if required (contractor/ can provide assistance as well),
Provide support to Network engineer/Contractor in managing/upgrading radio
services between different sites (Not often – once in a while task when any
nodes are down and required to look into RF connectivity)
 Installing & configuring new hardware and/or software solution for meeting
rooms (Whiteboards and Polycom devices) and auditorium.
 Manage IOS devices – phones and iPads, provide assistance in enrolling the
devices, managing passcode for enrolled devices via management portal, Adding
new devices to management portal
