Job Description of API Architects in Sydney: 

Designing and Developing API proxies using Apigee Edge.
Designing API proxies from existing Soap or Rest services.
Responsible for the Solution Architecture for the API platform and API on-boarding.
Experience in creating custom message policies using Java
Strong understanding of Soap and Restful services.
Strong understanding of various security policies like BasicAuth , oAuth, WSSE token etc.
Strong understanding of API management life cycle components like creating environments, virtual hosts, api proxies, cache, products and publishing it to the portal.
Strong understanding of configuring various security policies for the APIs.
Experience in designing and pushing apis(YAML) using API Designer.
Experience in creating custom policies using gateway scripts or DP processing rules and configuring message Assemblies.
Strong understanding of configuring various security policies for the APIs.
Designing API proxies from existing Soap or Rest services.
Strong understanding of API management life cycle like publishing/deprecating/superseding api products.
Experience in creating processing rules using XMLT and Gateway Scripts.
Experience in testing the services using SoapUI or Postman tools.
Apigee installation and configuration.
Good communication skills and Experience with Agile development.
