Q2 HR Solutions is looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior IT Manager to lead our IT operations, cybersecurity initiatives, and digital transformation efforts. About the Role

The Senior IT Manager will oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, cybersecurity framework, and technology operations. This role works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable IT systems that support business growth. The role is responsible for managing IT teams, leading critical projects, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, and strengthening the organization's overall technology posture.

Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Operations Management

  • Lead and manage overall IT operations, including infrastructure, systems, and network performance
  • Align IT strategy with business goals to support organizational growth and efficiency
  • Oversee system upgrades, process improvements, and technology modernization initiatives
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity frameworks and policies
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and security audits
  • Lead incident response and threat management initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and industry security standards

Project Management & Digital Transformation

  • Lead end-to-end IT and security-related projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and user experience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and implement technology solutions
  • Monitor project performance and ensure alignment with business objectives

Data Protection & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., Data Privacy Act)
  • Act as a key point of contact for audits, regulators, and compliance requirements
  • Develop and enforce data protection policies and best practices
  • Promote organization-wide awareness of data security and privacy

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams
  • Partner with business leaders to provide strategic IT advisory and solutions
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Master's degree in IT or related field is an advantage

Experience

  • At least 10–15 years of progressive IT experience
  • At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, and project management
  • Experience handling audits, compliance, and data protection initiatives

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and incident response
  • Experience in network infrastructure, systems administration, and cloud technologies
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in IT project management methodologies

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent is highly preferred
