About the Role
We are looking for an experienced PR Manager to lead the planning and execution of strategic public relations campaigns while building strong relationships with clients, media partners, internal teams, third-party agencies, and suppliers.
This role will manage PR projects from strategy development through execution, reporting, and evaluation. The successful candidate will also lead a team, support business development initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client and Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and develop strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand client objectives and expectations and coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide regular project updates and promptly address client concerns or issues.
- Manage relationships with media partners, suppliers, third-party agencies, and other external stakeholders.
PR Campaign and Project Management
- Lead and actively manage PR projects and campaigns from planning through execution.
- Develop and present PR strategies, campaign plans, key messages, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with PR, digital, social media, influencer marketing, media relations, and other internal teams.
- Manage project timelines, deadlines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead, manage, and support the development of PR Associates and Senior PR Associates.
Media Relations
- Identify relevant media opportunities and pitch stories to journalists and media partners.
- Coordinate media interviews, press events, and other publicity activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with media contacts and stay informed about relevant industry news.
- Invite media representatives to events and help secure attendance and coverage.
Reporting and Analytics
- Prepare campaign reports and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of PR initiatives.
- Monitor media coverage, campaign metrics, influencer collaborations, and execution results.
- Present performance reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Gather client feedback and assess campaign results against agreed objectives.
Budget and Supplier Management
- Help ensure campaigns are executed within the approved budget.
- Track expenses, review supplier contracts, and negotiate pricing when necessary.
- Manage resources effectively to support timely and successful campaign delivery.
Business Development
- Participate in client pitches and support the preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Conduct market research and identify potential business opportunities.
- Help build relationships with prospective clients and contribute to business growth.
Industry Knowledge
- Stay updated on PR, influencer marketing, digital advertising, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Attend relevant events, conferences, and workshops to strengthen professional knowledge and industry connections.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience as a PR Associate, Account Executive, PR Manager, Brand Manager, or in a comparable role within a PR, creative, digital, or related industry.
- Experience directly managing a team of approximately three to five employees.
- Proven experience in client relations, team management, and project management.
- Experience in writing press releases and key messages, developing presentations, and pitching or presenting to clients and stakeholders.
- Proven success in brand launches, brand activities, campaign management, project management, or event execution.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM is an advantage.
