The Business Development Support Specialist provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Business Development team. This role enhances lead generation, sales pipeline management, and client relationship activities by ensuring accurate data management, seamless CRM processes, and efficient internal coordination, enabling the team to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Job Scope:
Lead Generation & Campaign Support
- Support proactive lead research, qualification, and nurturing to expand the sales pipeline.
- Assist in the planning and execution of campaigns, events, webinars, and marketing initiatives.
- Track campaign performance and provide insights into strategy optimization.
CRM & Data Management
- Maintain and update lead and customer data in HubSpot (or other CRM platforms) to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Track lead interactions, deal status, and campaign performance systematically.
- Conduct regular CRM audits and generate reports for management insights.
Sales & Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Business Development team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Coordinate internal meetings, webinars, and outreach initiatives.
- Manage contracts, documentation, and renewals, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries and ensure timely follow-ups.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on lead generation, pipeline progression, and campaign results.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, improvement areas, and opportunities for automation.
- Track follow-ups, engagement, and conversion metrics to support KPIs.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on campaigns, client interactions, and project deliverables.
- Share insights on lead quality, client feedback, and process improvements to support decision-making.
Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Management
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, CRM best practices, and digital tools for sales enablement.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred).
Experience
- 2+ years in sales support, business development support, or administrative roles (preferred but not essential).
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with lead generation, campaign management, and reporting.
