Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager - Compensation and Benefits is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures that the company's compensation structures and benefit plans are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's objectives. The manager will also provide strategic guidance and support to senior management on compensation and benefits-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Management:
- Develop and manage the company's compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and other monetary rewards.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitive compensation.
- Analyze and evaluate job roles to determine appropriate salary levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding compensation.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on compensation-related topics.
Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other employee perks.
- Evaluate and select benefits providers and manage vendor relationships.
- Design and implement employee communication strategies to effectively promote benefit programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding benefits.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that support the company's business objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on compensation and benefits trends, best practices, and emerging issues.
- Conduct compensation and benefits analysis to support business decisions and workforce planning.
Employee Relations and Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding compensation and benefits inquiries.
- Conduct training sessions for HR staff and managers on compensation and benefits topics.
- Resolve employee issues related to compensation and benefits in a timely and efficient manner.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate compensation and benefits data and perform regular audits.
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to management on the effectiveness and impact of compensation and benefits programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field
- 5+ years HR experience, with 23 years in compensation & benefits
- Strong knowledge of PH labor laws and benefits compliance
- Proficient in HRIS, Excel, and data analysis
- Experience in vendor management and employee relations
- Willing to work hybrid both in QC/Makati
