Role Summary

The Service Communications Specialist is responsible for executing service-related email campaigns and alerts for customers and partners. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

Email Campaign Execution

  • Build and deploy HTML-based emails using Marketo Engage.
  • Ensure responsive design and compliance with brand standards.
  • Segment audiences and send urgent alerts accurately.


Technical Implementation

  • Apply dynamic content and personalization.
  • Troubleshoot HTML/CSS issues and integrate data.
  • Analyze and clean audience lists using Excel.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with marketing, communications, and operations teams.
  • Work with writers and stakeholders for message clarity.
  • Participate in meetings with U.S.-based colleagues.


Process & Documentation

  • Maintain campaign documentation and follow approval workflows.
  • Suggest process improvements and ensure compliance with email regulations.


Qualifications:
Must-Have

  • 2-3 years of experience with Marketo Engage.
  • Background in B2B tech/SaaS/cloud services.
  • Strong HTML/CSS skills for responsive email design.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
  • Ability to work U.S. hours under pressure.

Preferred

  • Marketo Certification (MCE or Associate).
  • Experience with APIs, scripting, Salesforce CRM.
  • Knowledge of WCAG email accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with MSP or IT service communications.
