We’re hiring a Lead Project Engineer to serve as the Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) supporting one or more high-impact defense and aerospace programs. This is a critical leadership role at a high-tech production facility in Camden, Arkansas, offering technical ownership over program design, manufacturing, and non-conformance resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the engineering lead across production programs such as PAC-3, ATACMS, GMLRS, Javelin, and others
  • Provide real-time support for work-in-progress non-conformances, including evaluation, repair, and disposition
  • Optimize production processes to improve yield and resource utilization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Management)
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming hardware
  • Represent engineering in the Material Review Board (MRB) processes

  • Apply DFMEA/PFMEA principles, design for manufacturability, and risk 

    management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of project engineering experience, OR

  • Master’s Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, OR

  • 13+ years of direct experience without a degree

  • Ability to assess and resolve production non-conformances

  • Knowledge of rocket propulsion components, systems engineering, and safety
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a Security Clearance

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAD, GD&T, and materials/analysis tools

  • Experience designing and testing equipment, processes, or procedures

  • Root cause analysis and RCCA experience

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Six Sigma Certification is a plus
