We’re hiring a Lead Project Engineer to serve as the Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) supporting one or more high-impact defense and aerospace programs. This is a critical leadership role at a high-tech production facility in Camden, Arkansas, offering technical ownership over program design, manufacturing, and non-conformance resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the engineering lead across production programs such as PAC-3, ATACMS, GMLRS, Javelin, and others
- Provide real-time support for work-in-progress non-conformances, including evaluation, repair, and disposition
- Optimize production processes to improve yield and resource utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Management)
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming hardware
Represent engineering in the Material Review Board (MRB) processes
Apply DFMEA/PFMEA principles, design for manufacturability, and risk
management
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of project engineering experience, OR
Master’s Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, OR
13+ years of direct experience without a degree
Ability to assess and resolve production non-conformances
- Knowledge of rocket propulsion components, systems engineering, and safety
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in CAD, GD&T, and materials/analysis tools
Experience designing and testing equipment, processes, or procedures
Root cause analysis and RCCA experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Six Sigma Certification is a plus
