We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric ECMO Specialist Registered Nurse to join a leading ECMO program at a top pediatric care facility. Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate ECMO equipment during emergency and critical care scenarios.

  • Deliver safe, age-appropriate nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patients.

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and execute patient care plans.

  • Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions while on ECMO support.

  • Maintain regulatory and institutional standards in all patient care practices.

  • Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced team members.

  • Participate in ongoing performance improvement and quality assurance activities.

  • Support patient and family education and engagement throughout the care process.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

  • Licensure: Valid Texas RN license or compact state license

  • Certifications: BLS required; additional certifications as applicable to the unit

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of ECMO specialist experience

    • Prior experience in pediatric or neonatal intensive care (NICU) required
