A newly opened position for a Board-Certified Physician is available at a correctional healthcare facility serving both male and female residents. The role involves leading medical operations, delivering hands-on patient care, and ensuring high standards of clinical quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct medical examinations, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-ups

Provide leadership and direction to the clinical team

Perform minor and occasional major surgical procedures

Participate in treatment planning and team meetings

Ensure compliance with national healthcare accreditation standards

Maintain secure and confidential medical records

Manage medical emergencies and high-pressure situations professionally
Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Licensed (or eligible) to practice in California

Board Certification required

Valid drivers license

Willing to work on-site at a detention facility
