Our client, a leading insurer, is seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join their high-performing team on an initial 8-9 month contract based in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex data and application development initiatives within a dynamic and supportive environment.

We're looking for a developer with 6+ years of SQL experience, along with strong technical skills across Microsoft and Azure platforms. You'll play a key role in the design, development, deployment, and support of critical systems and services.

Key Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in development, with at least 2 years in a similar role
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with SQL development
• Experience supporting high availability production systems (highly desirable)
• MS SQL Server, including SSIS and SSRS
• Azure Data Factory
• .Net (Core and Framework) and C#
• Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Terraform
• Strong programming, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and the full software development lifecycle
• Experience in change management practices within parallel development environments
• Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in fast-paced customer-facing environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
