Change Consultant | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Transformation | 912 Month Contract | Adelaide

Our client is undertaking a major transformation initiative and is seeking an experienced Change Consultant to lead the end-to-end change management strategy and execution for the transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365.

This is a 9-12 month contract based in Adelaide, offering the opportunity to play a key role in delivering business-wide process, systems, and capability uplift.

This role will suit a change professional who thrives in collaborative environments, has a strategic mindset, and excels at stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, communication planning, and training coordination across complex transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the change management strategy across all program workstreams, aligning with business and transformation goals
  • Engage and analyse stakeholders, identifying change readiness and tailoring engagement plans
  • Conduct change impact assessments across people, processes, and systems, including training needs analysis
  • Develop and deliver communications plans, including targeted messaging, stakeholder engagement, and change network coordination
  • Create and implement a training plan, leveraging Train-the-Trainer models and Microsoft resources
  • Support organisational readiness through pre-launch, go-live, and post-go-live activities
  • Integrate with the project team, ensuring alignment with milestones, risks, and delivery timelines

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in leading change initiatives within large-scale transformation programs
  • Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication planning
  • Proficient in change impact assessments and training needs analysis
  • High-level communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred)
  • Experience in public sector environments (highly regarded)

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field
  • Change management certification (e.g. PROSCI, APMG) preferred but not essential

This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys ownership, strategic input, and working closely with both business and technical teams in a fast-paced project environment.
