Position Overview:

As an Accountant for this incredible team, you will play a vital role, ensuring compliance with Tax laws and regulations. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, and assisting with tax planning strategies. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a supportive and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on current tax laws and regulations
• Assist with tax planning and strategy development
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary information for tax filings
• Prepare and maintain accurate and organised tax records
• Respond to tax notices and inquiries from tax authorities
• Identify potential tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution
• Support senior accountants and managers with various tax-related projects

Qualifications:

• CPA certification or CA working towards would be highly regarded
• 2-4+ years of experience in Accounting or a related field
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
