Site/Observability Engineer New Relic / Monitoring Specialist

Our client, a well-known fast food chain, is seeking an experienced Observability Engineer to join their infrastructure and monitoring team. Youll play a key role in enhancing the visibility of critical systems by implementing and optimising New Relic dashboards, alerts, and integrations.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-transaction environment where observability and uptime are business critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain New Relic dashboards, alerts, and reporting across core systems
- Work with application and business owners to ensure all critical services are monitored
- Integrate alerting and incident workflows into ServiceNow
- Improve signal-to-noise ratio across alerts and reduce false positives
- Support broader monitoring and observability strategy and tooling across the enterprise
- Align observability processes with ITSM and helpdesk frameworks
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with New Relic (APM, Infrastructure, Alerts, Dashboards)
- Proven experience integrating observability tools with ServiceNow
- Solid understanding of monitoring best practices, alert routing, and incident response
- Ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and business teams
- Exposure to cloud environments and distributed architectures is desirable
