This isnt cold calling and it isnt high-pressure selling. Its about creating meaningful, high-value conversations with the people who already sit at the table with owners. The work is about trust, credibility, and consistency. If you know how to build long-term referral relationships that generate opportunities, this might be for you.
Youll be joining a founder-led M&A advisory firm that works with hands-on entrepreneurs who have built meaningful companies. They are not looking for fluff. They want a trusted guide who can help them prepare and execute one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
What We Do
We are not the typical commission breath business brokers. We dont pressure people into listings and hope for the best. We run a structured M&A process where every client relationship begins with a paid assessment or short-term project that delivers results in 30 days or less.
Some projects then lead to a full sell-side exit engagement. Some lead to strategic exit planning work before a sale. And some end after the initial assessment. Every client gets value right out of the gate.
The Role
Youll be responsible for opening doors and building credibility with professional partners who work with business owners. That means:

Building relationships with CPAs, attorneys, wealth managers, consultants, and association leaders

Creating partner programs that make it easy to introduce us to their clients

Hosting educational sessions, webinars, or small roundtables with referral partners

Managing a follow-up system so partners feel supported and stay engaged

Tracking partner performance and identifying who is sending real opportunities
This role is about discipline and consistency. The more you invest in building trust with partners, the more opportunities youll create for the deal team.

Compensation
This is a performance-based role. There is no base salary. You are paid based on the value you create through referral partner relationships that turn into client engagements.
That means:
