The Role

We are hiring a part-time Contract Attorney to join us on a flexible, contract basis. Pay starts at $50 per hour. You will review, draft, and negotiate agreements, advise on compliance, and help clients understand their obligations in plain English. Your work will give small business owners clarity and confidence while keeping deals and operations moving.

Duties

You will review and prepare contracts such as service agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, and licensing deals. You will catch risks early, propose practical solutions, and make sure obligations are tracked and deadlines are met. You will also guide entrepreneurs by breaking down complex legal issues in language they can act on immediately. At Lodgepole, legal support is designed to help businesses move faster with less risk.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed attorney with at least three years of experience in contracts and small business law. You are comfortable working independently and can manage multiple matters without missing details. You deliver advice clearly and directly, without jargon. Most importantly, you understand that small businesses need practical answers fast, not over-complication.
