This isn't a job for the diva looking for a list of hot leads. This is for the kind of person who knows how to create meaningful, high-value conversations from scratch, not by pitching, but by engaging. Someone who doesn't believe in strangers, only in people they haven't met yet.

You'll be joining a founder-led M&A advisory firm that works with smart, hands-on entrepreneurs who have built meaningful companies. They're not looking for fluff or bullshit. They want a guide they can trust for this process.

What We Do

Were not the typical commission breath business brokers. We dont pressure people into listing their businesses online and hope something happens. We run a structured M&A process where every client relationship begins with a paid assessment or short-term project that delivers results in 30 days or less.

Some projects then lead to a full sell-side exit engagement. Some lead to strategic exit planning work before the full engagement. And some end after the initial assessment.

Every client gets value from day one, and thats what you'll be helping us deliver more of.

The Role

You'll be responsible for opening new doors and keeping them open with business owners and their trusted advisors. That means:

  • Building relationships with referral partners such as CPAs, attorneys, consultants, and industry groups

  • Creating visibility through local and industry events, outreach, and strategic introductions

  • Starting and nurturing meaningful, high-value conversations with business owners directly

  • Managing your own follow-up rhythm with discipline and respect

  • Bringing qualified opportunities into our system for early paid engagements

You'll thrive in this role if you already have a network in the trades or home services industries, whether thats through contractors, subcontractors, distributors, suppliers, or years of showing up at trade associations and job sites where the real work gets done.

This role requires you to blaze your own trail. You'll get support, but you will not be fed. You're expected to work your process and move with purpose.

We operate on performance. There is no guaranteed base. You're paid based on the value you help deliver through real client conversations that lead to real solutions inside our infrastructure. We reward outcomes, not effort.

Your job is to hold space for all three with respect, firmness, and clarity.

We don't bluff. We don't overpromise. We don't chase. Were not selling hope. Were selling clarity and a path to real outcomes.

Industry Familiarity Helps

You don't need to have closed deals before, but if you've worked in or around the trades and home services sector, thats a major plus. We want someone who already speaks the language, whether through contractors, supply houses, distributors, or trade associations.

This isn't about having a book of business. Its about knowing how to build trust in a space where credibility matters.

The Compensation Model

This is not a salaried position. There is no base pay. You are compensated based on the value you create.

That means:

  • Paid assessments and short-cycle strategy projects create early wins

  • Advisory retainers and executed deals provide long-term upside

  • No cap on earnings

  • No reward for showing up and trying hard, only for results

If you can bring value, you'll be rewarded accordingly. If you cant, this will be a short conversation.
