About the job Business Broker Main Street and Lower Middle Market

Business Broker Main Street and Lower Middle Market

Were looking for a Business Broker to join our team and work directly with owners of small to mid-sized companies who are ready to explore their exit. If you've been around brokerage before, you already know how this industry can look: hustlers chasing listings, slapping them on websites, and hoping for the best. Thats not us.

We do things differently. Every client relationship starts with a paid assessment or short project that delivers results in 30 days or less. From there, some owners move forward into a full sell-side engagement. Some step into strategic exit planning work before they're ready to sell. And some stop after the assessment. Either way, every client gets value from day one.

What We Do

Were an M&A advisory firm serving Main Street and lower middle market companies. Our clients are hands-on entrepreneurs who have built meaningful businesses. They're not looking for fluff. They want straight talk, clarity, and a guide they can trust to help them through one of the biggest financial decisions of their life.

Were not the typical commission breath business brokers. We dont pressure owners into listings or spray their businesses all over the internet. We run a structured process that connects qualified buyers and sellers, manages negotiations, and gets deals closed the right way.

The Role

As a Business Broker on our team, you'll:

  • Work with owners who are exploring the sale of their company

  • Conduct upfront assessments and help owners understand their options

  • Build relationships with CPAs, attorneys, and other referral partners

  • Prepare offering materials and present businesses to buyers

  • Manage the process from offers to negotiations, due diligence, and closing

  • Keep clients informed, supported, and confident from start to finish

This isnt about chasing listings and praying for buyers. Its about building trust, running a proven process, and closing deals that make sense.

Who You Are

  • You have experience in business brokerage, M&A, or related advisory work

  • You're comfortable working directly with business owners and buyers

  • You can manage multiple deals, deadlines, and details at the same time

  • You're organized, disciplined, and steady under pressure

  • You're direct, kind, and grounded in doing whats right for the client

What You'll Get Here

  • Real client opportunities brought in through our origination channels

  • A structured process and team infrastructure to support your work

  • The ability to focus on doing deals, not chasing every lead yourself

  • The chance to grow with a firm that values professionalism and client outcomes

Compensation

This is a performance-based role. There is no base salary. You are compensated on the successful execution of client engagements.

That means:

  • Paid assessments and short projects provide early revenue

  • Full sell-side engagements and closed transactions provide significant upside

  • Earnings are based on outcomes, not effort

If you can run deals well, your earnings will reflect it.

Who This Is Not For

  • If you only know how to list companies online and hope, this isn't the place

  • If you think pressure tactics build trust, you wont last here

  • If you're looking for a base salary and a script to read, you're in the wrong shop

Who This Is For

  • You want to broker businesses the right way

  • You believe in bringing value before asking for commitment

  • You enjoy guiding entrepreneurs through the deal process

  • You want to work on a team thats changing what Main Street brokerage looks like

How to Apply

Tell us about your experience in business brokerage or M&A, the types of clients you've worked with, and the role you played in getting deals closed.

If you're ready to run Main Street deals without the commission breath approach, wed love to hear from you.
