Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Site Lead

Main Duties:

• Ensure full compliance with Maltese health, safety, and environmental laws (OHSA, ERA, ATEX)
• Act as the designated OHS Competent Person under Maltese law (L.N. 36/2003, L.N. 44/2002)
• Lead SHE risk assessments for hazardous materials (REACH/CLP), ATEX zoning, and process safety
• Drive the SHE strategy and oversee all programs, policies, training, and audits
• Foster a proactive safety culture by empowering staff to take ownership and report risks
• Lead SHE initiatives in sustainability, waste, energy efficiency, and emergency planning

What skills do you need?

• MQF Level 6 degree in OHS, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
• OHSA Malta-recognized Health & Safety Diploma for Competent Person status
• Proven leadership in SHE within pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors, ideally in ATEX environments
• Certification or strong experience in ISO 45001/ISO 14001 auditing is an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust, influence behavior, and drive a company-wide safety culture

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
