Head of Operations

Location: Malta

Basis: Full time

Remuneration: Salary + Benefits

Main Duties:

• Lead the NGO's day-to-day operations and administration
• Coordinate projects, budgets, funding and stakeholder reporting
• Manage and support employees and volunteers
• Develop effective internal systems, policies and procedures
• Build relationships with stakeholders, partners, beneficiaries and the community at large
• Ensure that the NGO's activities remain accountable and aligned with its mission

What skills do you need:

• A degree in education, management, social sciences or a similar field
• Strong administrative, organisational and compassionate people-management skills
• Experience in operations, funding, budgeting, project management and/or NGO leadership
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills, with fluency in Maltese and English
• Sound judgement and sensitivity to safeguarding and confidentiality
• A strong commitment to the NGO's mission and social impact, inspiring confidence in the organisation
• Familiarity with safeguarding, case-referral environments, education, mental health support, youth or community services would be useful

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
