Supply Chain Officer

Location: Malta

Basis: Full time

Remuneration: Salary + Benefits

Main Duties:

• Lead procurement strategy, including budgeting, sourcing, and supplier performance
• Manage supplier lifecycles, from qualification and contracting to ongoing relationships
• Oversee compliant operations, including ERP data, requisitions, and MRP-driven orders
• Coordinate non-stock orders across departments to ensure timely business alignment
• Drive stakeholder alignment for effective supply planning and technical coordination
• Ensure supply continuity, managing imports and resolving returns or deviations
• Lead audit readiness and maintain strict adherence to GMP and Quality systems
• Analyze and improve processes to drive operational excellence and efficiency

What skills do you need?

• MQF Level 6 qualification, or Level 5 with relevant supply chain experience
• Pharma experience with GDP knowledge or SAP proficiency is preferred
• Excellent English communication; proficiency in Maltese is an asset
• Familiarity with customs, documentation, and dangerous goods handling is desirable
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contract management
• Strong experience with ERP systems and specialized procurement tools
• In-depth knowledge of GMP and quality compliance requirements
