Credit Control Officer

Industry: Food & Beverage

Location: Malta

Basis: Full time

Remuneration: Salary, bonus & benefits

Main Duties:

• Manage assigned portfolio to keep receivables within approved credit limits
• Chase outstanding payments regularly while maintaining strong customer care
• Keep assigned portfolio up to date with timely postings and accurate allocations
• Regularly review portfolio to ensure all account information remains current
• Promptly address defaulting debtors and initiate legal action when necessary
• Enforce and adhere to established credit control procedures
• Resolve internal and external customer queries efficiently
• Maintain a professional approach to ensure credit arrangements are honored

What skills do you need?

• Minimum O Level standard of education preferred
• Prior experience in credit control required
• Self-motivated, independent, ethical, and resilient under pressure
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities
• ICT literate with solid presentation skills
• Confident in handling challenging client conversations

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
