Financial Controller

Industry: Disability & Therapy - Public & Health Services

Location: Malta

Basis: Full-time

Remuneration: Salary + Benefits

Main Duties:

• Provide financial guidance and support to Senior Management, and Board
• Develop budgets, manage project finance and compliance
• Research revenue, analyze operations and process improvement
• Advise on business development and strategic planning
• Manage finance, accounting, compliance, and internal controls
• Implement cost reduction and efficiency strategies
• Oversee reconciliation, performance, and preparation of financial reports/ forecasts
• Provide strategic financial input on organizational decisions and long-range planning
• Optimize banking and investor relationships
• Develop new business opportunities and strengthens revenue streams
• Ensure adequate insurance coverage, tax/legal compliance, and internal controls
• Monitor KPIs and implements corrective measures
• Ensure projects align with business goals and have qualified leadership
• Foster ethical, customer-focused culture

What skills do you need?

• Warranted Accountant (ACCA qualified or equivalent).
• 5+ years experience in a leadership role within the finance sector.
• Meticulous and collaborative mentor with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• High proficiency in English language (C1 proficiency).
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
