Laboratory Service Technician

Industry: Pharma

Location: Malta

Basis: Full time

Remuneration: Salary + Benefits

Main Duties:

• Service a range of laboratory equipment including calibration, validation, and preventive maintenance
• Installation, Training & Commissioning of Lab Analytical Equipment
• Update of service reports
• Assist in sales, i.e. generate offers for clients, issue purchase orders to suppliers
• Will be expected to assist in technical sales meetings
• Research relevant new technologies and services to increase company portfolio
• Occasional travel abroad is necessary at times for training
• Reporting to his superiors daily

What skills do you need?

• The ideal candidate should preferably have an MCAST / Fellenberg HTD diploma in industrial electronics or equivalent
• Flexible and eager to learn new technologies/processes
• Experience on the installation & maintenance of laboratory analytical equipment will be preferred
• Experience working with Lab instrumentation preferably within the Pharmaceutical industry - this will be considered an asset
• Experience working as a Maintenance technician with a Supplier of Lab equipment - this will be considered an asset
• Have strong organizational skills, proactive and able to multi-tasking
• Work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Have excellent communication skills and a customer service attitude

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
