Regulatory Compliance Consultant

Location: Malta

Basis: Full time

Remuneration: Salary + Benefits

Main Duties:

• Advise clients on compliance across data protection, AML, sanctions, and industry standards
• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and controls
• Conduct risk assessments to pinpoint compliance and financial crime vulnerabilities
• Support regulatory reporting for local and international standards
• Deliver training on compliance and financial crime topics
• Track regulatory updates to guide clients on emerging risks
• Assist in audits, investigations, and breach remediation projects

What skills do you need?

• 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, AML, or financial crime
• MQF Level 6 degree in Law, Criminology, Business, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of FATF, EU AML directives, OFAC, GDPR, and local regulations
• Hands-on experience with compliance monitoring tools and risk management methodologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
