Main Duties:

  • Maintain accurate employee files, contracts, and HRIS data in full compliance with GDP
  • Generate periodic reports on timesheets, headcount, turnover, and billing to support management decisions
  • Assist the HR Executive with monthly payroll processing and the administration of employee benefit
  • Support the full hiring lifecycle, from job posting and candidate screening to contract preparation and onboarding
  • Assist in developing HR policies, ensuring adherence to labor laws, and supporting disciplinary or grievance procedures
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for staff inquiries regarding HR, payroll, and general company procedures
  • Coordinate training initiatives, including needs analysis, IIS funding applications, and CPE/CPA accreditation
  • Manage H&S compliance and OHSA updates while contributing to HR digital transformation and process improvements

What skills do you need:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Maltese employment law and HR best practices
  •  Deep understanding of payroll cycles, statutory requirements, and regulatory compliance
  • Advanced user of MS Office (with an emphasis on complex Excel functions) and experienced in navigating HRIS/payroll platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a consistently high standard of accuracy in all deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a dedicated, service-focused approach to internal and external communication
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
  • Robust organizational skills with a track record of managing competing priorities in fast-paced environments

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
