Location: Warners Bay, Cessnock, Tuggerah & Gosford
Caseloads: Paediatrics and Adolescents
Provider/s: NDIS, Medicare

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify cognitive, emotional, and behavioral issues in children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs, incorporating various therapeutic modalities.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavior management.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments to inform treatment planning and progress monitoring.
  • Offer psychoeducation and support to families on managing and coping with mental health challenges.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Doctoral or Master's degree in Psychology
  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with diverse psychological and emotional needs.
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized psychological assessments.
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family systems therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
