Location: Warners Bay, Cessnock, Tuggerah & Gosford
Caseloads: Paediatrics and Adolescents
Provider/s: NDIS, Medicare

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents to identify occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans focusing on improving functional abilities and independence.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and other areas of occupation.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic care and support.
  • Monitor progress, reassess goals, and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide education and support to families on home programs and strategies to promote skill development and independence.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelors or masters degree in occupational therapy
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, and other neurological conditions.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based occupational therapy interventions and assessment tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
