Caseloads: Paediatrics and Adolescents

Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents to identify occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans focusing on improving functional abilities and independence.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and other areas of occupation.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic care and support.
- Monitor progress, reassess goals, and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to families on home programs and strategies to promote skill development and independence.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in occupational therapy
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience working with children and adolescents with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, and other neurological conditions.
- Knowledge of evidence-based occupational therapy interventions and assessment tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
