Location: Warners Bay, Cessnock, Tuggerah & Gosford
Caseloads: Paediatrics and Adolescents
Provider/s: NDIS, Medicare

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adolescents.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans targeting areas such as articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and feeding/swallowing skills.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing function.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support.
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
  • Provide education and training to families and caregivers on strategies for supporting speech and language development at home and in educational settings.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques for a variety of speech and language disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
