- Capable of undertaking a visually compliant tig 6G test.
- Complete the allocated work in accordance with the Welding Procedure Specifications in a timely manner.
- Ensure familiarity with specified Procedures and have copies available at the welding station for reference.
- Ensure that welding is in compliance with all parameters specified.
- Ensure current qualification for any welding procedures being used.
- Authorized to transfer Heat Numbers when cutting materials.
- Have a recognized Welding or Boilermaking qualification.
- Have a minimum of 3 years working as a coded Welder in a Fabrication Workshop or On Site.
- Be an Australian Citizen or have a Permanent Residency.
- Be able to read and understand Welding symbols, Welding procedures, and fabrication drawings.
- Having a Welding qualification is an advantage, but not necessary.
