Job Description:

We are seeking 2 x Apprentice  Mechanical Fitters - Field Service based at our client's reputable Conveyor Maintenance Company Workshop. As an Apprentice Plant Fitter, you will play a crucial role in our team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of conveyor systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with some experience to showcase their skills and contribute to the success of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and replacements of pulleys, gearboxes, and bearings on conveyor systems
• Conduct inspections to identify faults, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures at all times
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including reports and service records

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance and repair work preferred, not essential
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations
• Regular travel to and from local customer sites, plus workshop work
• Ability to travel and work on-site at various locations (expect 2 nights away with overnight allowance)

• Valid driver's license essential
