We are looking to hire a Software Project Manager. The successful candidate will work directly with the PMO to manage Software Projects.

As a Software Project Manager, you will be part of our experienced Project Management team and will assist in the management and organization of key client projects. You will play a key role in delivering every project on time and within scope. It is required for you to have a software development background and business, management, and analysis skills as well.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • 2-7 years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field
  • PMP Certification will be considered a strong asset
  • Previous experience in Public Sector projects will be considered a strong asset
  • Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
  • Ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
  • Works under minimal supervision or direction but closely with the Product Owners to ensure deliverables are met based on priorities
  • Works on projects that are moderate to difficult regarding complexity
  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of technical and business knowledge and can learn about our business quickly
