Presales Consultant Software Architect [SAL_01]

We are currently seeking for skilled Presales Consultant Software Architect who can bring their expertise to our team. He will be part of a presales and bidding team with primary responsibility to write proposals for large-scale Public & Private Sector Tenders in Greece and abroad. The role includes strong interactions with the Sales and the Operation Departments.

The Presales Consultant will be involved in architectural design for on premise and/or cloud-based solutions, the design of High-Availability systems in mission critical operational environments and must be familiar with new technologies, distributed systems, IaaS/SaaS, microservices, and should have the energy and skills to drive the architecture of business-critical applications. In details he/she will

• Participate in the assessment and design of complex ITC projects, challenging the proposed solutions based on technical, functional, and financial requirements.
• Participate in the preparation of a winning proposal according to Tender or Customer Requirements.
• Actively guide team members in the presales process and writes proposals for customers, providing architectural guidance to presales teams.
• Bid management (co-ordination internally and externally with partners).
• Support the company during the contract negotiations phase as required, managing changes from the submitted proposal.
• Prepare and present sales offers, lead the technical and commercial discussion, in order to get the sales orders executed.
• Liaise thoroughly with internal and external business Partners/Vendors, combining technical advice to design and fulfil the best possible solution for customers needs.

Required skills:

• Bachelors Degree in a technical, operational, or similar field; Masters degree or MBA preferred.
• 3 or more years proven hands-on experience in Bid Management, Bid Writing and Presales or IT Consulting.
• Ability in explaining and presenting technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills in both Greek and English.
• Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Willingness to travel for client meetings as required.

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of virtualization environments, infrastructure software ranging from the OS level to the application and middleware layers, and the associated software stack dependencies and requirements.
• Proficiency in project management, with a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to meeting deadlines and surpassing customer expectations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and enhance existing knowledge, techniques, and experience.
• Relevant technical certifications.

Experience as a Presales Consultant Software Architect and demonstrated involvement in similar projects/activities will be regarded as a significant asset.
