Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong electrical/mechanical skills; experience with 30-480V systems
- 5-8 years of progressive mechanical experience (conveyor systems preferred)
- Welding, soldering, and cutting torch expertise
- Responsible for company assets, including tools, supplies, and equipment
- Experience using tools/equipment: drills, grinders, saws, multimeter, tachometer, welder, hydraulic gear puller, forklifts, pallet jacks, platform lifts (Aerial Lift Certification preferred)
- Strong commitment to safety at all times
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work on a concrete warehouse floor all day
- Continuous standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and handling
- Ability to read printed and electronic information
- Full on-site presence required for team collaboration and support
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, forklifts, and other mechanical material handling equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical control systems including motors, VFDs, servo controls, and peripheral devices to PLC inputs/outputs.
- Execute conveyor system projects, including installation, removal, and process improvement updates.
- Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to restore full functional operation.
- Identify and source repair parts for failed systems.
- Maintain accurate records such as work orders, time sheets, and parts requests.
