Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Strong electrical/mechanical skills; experience with 30-480V systems
  • 5-8 years of progressive mechanical experience (conveyor systems preferred)
  • Welding, soldering, and cutting torch expertise
  • Responsible for company assets, including tools, supplies, and equipment
  • Experience using tools/equipment: drills, grinders, saws, multimeter, tachometer, welder, hydraulic gear puller, forklifts, pallet jacks, platform lifts (Aerial Lift Certification preferred)
  • Strong commitment to safety at all times

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work on a concrete warehouse floor all day
  • Continuous standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and handling
  • Ability to read printed and electronic information
  • Full on-site presence required for team collaboration and support

What You’ll Do

  • Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, forklifts, and other mechanical material handling equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical control systems including motors, VFDs, servo controls, and peripheral devices to PLC inputs/outputs.
  • Execute conveyor system projects, including installation, removal, and process improvement updates.
  • Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to restore full functional operation.
  • Identify and source repair parts for failed systems.
  • Maintain accurate records such as work orders, time sheets, and parts requests.
