About the job Regional Sales Lead - Europe

About Quant

Quant provides interoperability and orchestration infrastructure for programmable money, including live systems for central banks and a multi‑bank tokenised deposit network. The commercial model compounds through scaled partner distribution and transaction‑volume growth within live accounts.

The Role at Quant

The Head of EMEA Financial Services & Corporate Finance Sales is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving end‑to‑end revenue across Tier 1 banks, capital markets firms, FMIs, and large corporates, through both direct enterprise sales and indirect partner‑led channels. This is a pure closing role: success is measured entirely by signed commercial contracts across all buyer types and all sales motions.

Operating from London with travel across Europe, the role owns the regional commercial engine, managing complex procurement cycles, multi‑stakeholder engagement, and high‑value negotiations. The remit spans:

  • Direct sales to financial institutions and corporates
  • Partner recruitment and activation
  • Expansion of transaction volumes in live accounts
  • Engagement in industry consortia and central‑bank‑led programmes
  • Regional leadership and forecasting

The domain baseline is wholesale payments, settlement infrastructure, treasury operations, and cross‑border money movement. The leader must hold confident peer‑level conversations with Heads of Treasury, Payments, Post‑Trade, CFO teams, and compliance/legal functions without preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Ecosystem Growth

  • Sign and manage SI and platform‑technology partners with commercial targets and co‑sell commitments.
  • Build a strong EMEA partner pipeline and drive joint customer wins.

Enterprise Sales Leadership

  • Own a direct quota and lead high‑value sales cycles with C‑suite stakeholders across payments, treasury, settlement, and digital‑money programmes.
  • Navigate multi‑team procurement (treasury, compliance, legal, digital assets, ops risk).

Revenue Expansion

  • Grow initial use cases into multi‑use‑case adoption (programmable treasury, FX settlement, tokenised deposits, cross‑border flows).
  • Drive transaction‑volume expansion across regional accounts.

Regional Leadership

  • Build a small EMEA sales team post‑funding.
  • Provide forecasting, pipeline discipline, and represent Quant at industry and regulatory forums.

Required Experience

    • Demonstrable sales leadership experience at Senior Director level or above
    • Strong track record selling financial‑services infrastructure into Tier 1 banks, capital markets firms, or FMIs.
    • Proven enterprise closing ability across direct and partner‑led motions.
    • Experience generating revenue through system integrators and platform partners (core banking, TMS, trading/markets platforms).
    • Deep payments knowledge (wholesale, settlement finality, cross‑border complexity).
    • Multi‑country EMEA experience and existing senior relationships at major European institutions.
    • Regional quota ownership with disciplined forecasting and execution.

    Strongly preferred:

    • Fluency (verbal and written) in another European language
    • Experience in consortia, FMI programmes, or European regulatory contexts.
    • Regulatory fluency in operational resilience, digital‑finance regulation, and supervisory frameworks.
