Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MAS Techno-Functional Architect with deep expertise in IBM Maximo to lead solution design, architecture, and delivery across enterprise asset management programs.
This role requires a strong techno-functional profile with hands-on experience in Maximo Manage and solid implementation exposure to Asset Performance Management (APM – Monitor, Health, Predict), Asset Investment Planning (AIP). Experience in Maximo for Renewables / MREF will be a big plus. In addition to delivery ownership, the architect will play a key role in pre-sales, RFPs, estimations, and solution shaping.
This role will be based in India, under Quantum Strides India Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quantum Strides LLC.
Key Responsibilities
Techno-Functional Architecture & Delivery
- Act as the end-to-end techno-functional architect for Maximo MAS implementations.
- Lead solution design for Maximo Manage, APM (Monitor, Health, Predict), AIP, and MREF / Renewables.
- Translate business requirements into scalable functional designs and technical architectures.
- Design integrations between Maximo Manage and APM modules, including Monitor connectors.
- Guide teams on best practices for asset lifecycle management, work management, and maintenance strategies.
- Provide architectural governance, design reviews, and technical decision support across projects.
RFP / Proposal & Pre-Sales Responsibilities
- Provide technical and solution inputs for RFPs, RFIs, and proposals, especially for Maximo-led opportunities.
- Collaborate with proposal and sales teams to develop:
- Solution architectures
- Implementation approaches
- Technical write-ups aligned to client/RFP requirements
- Participate in proposal Q&A sessions, articulating technical capabilities, assumptions, and delivery strategies.
- Work closely with sales and business development teams to translate client pain points into solution offerings.
- Support pricing and scoping discussions by aligning solution designs with cost-effective and scalable delivery models.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Maximo Experience
- 7+ years of experience with IBM Maximo, with strong depth in Maximo Manage.
- Hands-on implementation experience with:
- APM – Monitor (mandatory), Health, Predict
- Asset Investment Planning (AIP)
Technical & Integration Skills
- Experience with Maximo integrations (REST APIs, data connectors, IoT integrations).
- Strong understanding of MAS architecture, deployment models, and system interactions.
- Ability to guide teams on customization vs configuration decisions.
Domain Exposure
- Asset-intensive industries such as utilities, energy, renewables, infrastructure, or manufacturing.
- Exposure to renewable energy asset management is a strong plus.
Preferred Profile
- Background in service-based organizations with exposure to multiple client environments.
- Demonstrated adaptability through experience across multiple implementations and organizations.
- Prior experience supporting pre-sales or proposal activities is highly desirable.
- IBM Maximo / MAS certifications are a plus.
