Skills and Experience You Need:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and HMRC compliance is essential. Proficiency in finance software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is highly desirable.
  • Financial Management: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, VAT, payroll, and financial reporting is crucial.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead audits, implement financial controls, and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to financial accuracy, reconciliations, and compliance is a must.

Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or finalist).
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 5+ years of finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
